In 2019, we packed up a drum roaster, rented a shed in Paraparaumu, and started roasting our way through every origin we could find. We had no idea what we were doing — but we had taste, stubbornness, and very patient neighbours.
Today we source directly from farmers we know by name, roast within 48 hours of every order, and ship to subscribers across New Zealand and Australia who actually care about what's in their cup.
