TJ Design is a web design and development studio based on the Kāpiti Coast, working with businesses right across New Zealand — remotely or in person. Everything below is quoted at a fixed price before any work starts. All prices are in NZD and exclude GST. If a smaller scope would serve you better, we'll say so.
Web design & development
The main thing we do: custom, mobile-first websites designed and built from scratch, not assembled from a theme. That means the layout follows what your business actually needs to say, rather than the other way round.
Every build is fast-loading, works properly on a phone, and ships with the SEO fundamentals in place — clean structure, proper metadata, and performance that helps you rank. Most sites go live in two to four weeks, from $2,500.
Landing pages
One focused page with a single job: get the enquiry. Useful for a campaign, a trade business that doesn't need ten pages, or testing a new venture before committing to a full site.
Includes an enquiry form and click-to-call, plus analytics so you can see whether it's working. Live in one to two weeks, from $1,500.
E-commerce
Online stores where the checkout, payments and shipping are sorted properly — the parts that quietly lose sales when they're wrong. You get a custom storefront rather than a stock template, and training so you can add products and manage orders yourself without calling us every time.
Live in three to six weeks, from $5,000.
Branding & identity
Logo, colour and typography, built as a system rather than a single picture — so it holds up on a website, a van, an invoice and a sign. Often paired with a website build, and worth doing first if your current look is holding the site back.
3D & interactive
Three.js and WebGL work for businesses that need to stand out rather than blend in. Used where motion and depth earn attention — a product you want people to turn over and look at, or a hero that makes someone stop scrolling. Not decoration for its own sake, and never at the expense of load time.
SEO & performance
Search fundamentals on every build: sensible page structure, real metadata, structured data, a sitemap, and pages that load quickly enough that people don't leave first. If you already have a site, we can look at what's holding it back rather than rebuilding it.
After launch
Every project includes hosting and domain setup. From there, hosting & care is $89/month + GST — we host the site on fast modern infrastructure, keep it backed up, and handle your content changes and small tweaks so you never have to touch the code. The site is always 100% yours; if you want to move it, we hand over everything.
